On July 28, the acoustic duo DOGWOOD TALES released the music video for “Another Harvest Moon,” which will be featured on their debut self-titled 7″ available August 12 through Geneva Records. Kyle Grim, one of the co-founders of the band, released the following statement about the concept of the video:

“Rather than do anything literal, Ben and I wanted to approach the visual side of our music as something separate. Our good friend Joey Bell directed the video and mapped everything out. It was something completely new and ultimately out of our control, to some extent. For the video, we used two different cameras to give an idea of imagination and reality. Ben and I wanted to look like we are just kids dressing up as cowboys and playing with guns. When I am shot, the reality of actions sets in, so the shot is switched from a VHS camera to a high-definition shot signifying the shift of reality. Ultimately, I enjoy the pseudo-western aesthetic that Joey captures, giving the video more of just a feeling rather than any kind of story to sink into. I guess that’s kind of what the song is for.”
