Northern Virginia alt-country band MELODIME is releasing a new single “Little Thing Called Love,” produced by Rick Beato at Black Dog Sound in Stone Mountain, Ga., on June 3, 2016.

Following the release of the new single, the band will head out on the first leg of The Big Wheels Tour, a 24-date summer headline run, in support of both “Little Thing Called Love,” as well as their recent B-sides and collaborations album, The Underdogs. The tour kicks off with a hometown show at The State Theatre in Falls Church, Va. on June 11, and will continue throughout the East Coast, Southeast and Midwest.

The bands music merges a country twang with rock and roll, successfully blending stunning piano melodies with catchy guitar riffs and sing-along choruses. Floyd Magazine notes they create a unique brand of Southern-flavored rock that celebrates the musical past while foreshadowing the sounds of the future.
